One sunny day Mari, Sarina and me decided to do a collaboration. Sarina's work takes objects out of context, encouraging the audience see the objects in a new, and often humorous way. Mari, in her own words, is "interested in the moment where a painting begins and where it ends both physically and metaphorically." For all of us, with any project, the process is as important as the finished product, and so we strapped a blank canvas to Sarina's back and decided to walk around London painting the impressions of the city as we went along. As we are all international students, I feel that this simple idea represents us and how we grow and develop as persons, imprinted with the impressions of the city.
So here are the pictures! There is also a film coming in a couple of months, so stay tuned :)
